My Mission:

I do what I do because I believe in the power of knowledge in much the same way outlined by the philosopher Michel Foucault. Access to education and the tools necessary for everyone to excel academically is the right of every student, whether they be elementary or secondary. You’re not alone in your or your student’s endeavors. All it takes is a first step forward and the right person to meet your goals.

My story:

I’ve lived somewhere or another in the Brazos River Valley nearly the entirety of my life. The place I call home is a cotton field outside of a small Texas town called East Bernard. Growing up in nature alongside my six siblings still inspires me to hike and camp when I can.

I was home schooled K-12, an experience that allowed me the time and freedom to explore all sorts of educational interests, including guitar, bass, and piano, as well as history through dual-credit, the subject to which I later dedicated my secondary education.

I received my BA in History from Texas A&M University in the class of 2021, always working towards becoming an educator. I spent a year (2022-2023) at the University of New Mexico, Albuquerque working towards an MA in Latin American History with a focus on race & ethnicity and religion in the Colonial Era.

I moved back to Houston in 2023 and began working as a tutor. I stumbled upon a form of education in which I thrived. With many positive reviews behind me from clients, I decided to take the next step in the tutoring business and see what this world has to offer.

I strive to inspire my students with the same passion for learning and curiosity that has been so key to me to living a fulfilling life and having a perspective of awe at the sheer diversity and vastness of what we call the human mind and universe of which we are all a part.
